Services

St. Leonards Place has been offering support to individuals on the autism spectrum through self-contained flats. Our services encompass registered care, domiciliary care, and specialized supported living.

Registered Care

At our facility, we offer a range of care services, including registered care, domiciliary care, and specialist supported living. Our approach is centered around providing personalized support tailored to the unique needs of each individual. Our primary goal is to help them achieve success in all aspects of their lives by offering the right balance of support. We strive to create opportunities that promote personal growth, encourage risk-taking, and facilitate the acquisition of necessary skills.

Our home is registered and regulated by the Care Quality Commission, and you can find inspection reports on their website. We firmly believe in adopting an individualized and personal approach, tailoring our support to the specific requirements of each person. Utilizing person-centered methods, we collaborate with each individual to determine the most suitable level of positive assistance, empowering them to make choices and enhance their independence.

Communication is a cornerstone of our services, and we ensure that everyone's voice is heard, regardless of their preferred method of expression. We value the input of each person, allowing them to express their desires and preferences within their home environment.

Day Care

We offer an inclusive, safe and engaging environment and welcome people to the Day Service weekdays, evenings and weekends. Transport can be provided, subject to availability.

Respite Care

In addition to our Day Service, we provides respite accommodation for people with learning difficulties seven days a week, 365 days a year.

Domiciliary Care

We provide Domiciliary Care in self-contained flats with communal spaces. These are highly individualised properties where the individual holds the tenancy and receives specialist supported care to live a safe and fulfilling life in the community.

We understand the complexities surrounding shared or solitary accommodation, particularly concerning autistic individuals. Consequently, we take proactive steps to address issues related to resource-sharing, isolation, and loneliness for those we support.

To provide this personalized support, we maintain a team of well-trained, supportive, and compassionate staff who are dedicated to the care and well-being of the individuals we serve.
